On the business team of the Okemos Solar Racing Club, we focus on managing the team’s finances, outreach, and organization. We secure funds by organizing fundraising events and reaching out to sponsors for financial support. Our team manages the budget, making sure we have enough money for parts, travel, and other expenses, while carefully tracking spending. We also handle marketing, promoting the team through social media and community events to raise awareness. Additionally, we coordinate between the different departments to ensure everything stays on track, and we build connections with local businesses and organizations to strengthen our support network.
