We are the Okemos Solar Racing Club: a group of Okemos High School Students dedicated on building a solar-powered race car to compete in the 2025 Solar Car Challenge. We competed in the 2023 Solar Car Challenge and took home first place! The previous team raced a solar car and won second place overall, first on day two of racing, the Lockheed Martin Engineering Excellence Award, and the Telemetry Award during the 2019 competition. This year, we plan to build a new car for the Advanced Division and bring back another first place trophy!
